đź’«The Story Behind YTS
Youth Transformation Services® (YTS) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving outcomes for all youth through educational solutions that serve the whole child.
Founded in 2013, YTS didn’t start with a big budget or a polished website. We started with passion and a promise. From the beginning, our team showed up to partner with other youth organizations hosting fashion shows to boost youth confidence, game competitions, and supporting students through vision-boarding at local charter schools. We were all in.Â
Today, YTS bridges the gap between emotional health, social equity, and academic success. Our work is rooted in evidence-based practices such as Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and game-based learning, empowering educators, engaging students, and helping communities grow — together.
Unity in Motion: YTS’ Diversity & Inclusion Strategy
Unity in Motion is the official YTS initiative designed to cultivate school-community environments that celebrate diversity and affirm the identities of all YTS participants, including LGBTQ+. Through culturally responsive SEL, and interactive game-based learning, Unity in Motion equips educators, students, and families with tools that foster empathy, reduce bias, and create inclusive spaces where every voice is valued.
YTS is built on a legacy of educational technology, SEL leadership, and advocacy.Â

Looking Ahead
What began as a commitment to helping young people overcome adversity has evolved into a broader vision. YTS is building toward becoming a nationally recognized operating foundation that develops innovative educational solutions, conducts research, equips educators, and expands opportunities for youth through strategic partnerships and philanthropy. While our work begins in classrooms and communities, our vision reaches far beyond them, to create lasting systems that transform generations.
